New Year Prayer #4

As the dawn breaks on a new year, let us give thanks for all we hold dear: our health, our family and our friends.

Let us release our grudges, our anger and our pains, for these are nothing but binding chains. Let us live each day in the most loving ways, the God-conscious way. Let us serve all who are in need, regardless of race, color or creed.

Let us keep God of our own understanding in our hearts and to chant God's name each day. Let us lead the world from darkness to light, from falsehood to truth and from wrong to right.

Let us remember that we are all one, embracing all, discriminating against none.

May your year be filled with peace, prosperity and love. May God's blessings shower upon you and bestow upon each of you a bright, healthy and peaceful new year.

New Year Prayer #3

Father Bless us, O Lord, and bless the time and seasons
yet to come.
Teach us to number our days aright,
that we may gain wisdom of heart.
And fill this new year with your kindness,
that we may be glad and rejoice
all the days of our life. In Jesus name,,,Amen

New Year Prayer #2

Dear Lord, please give me
A few friends who understand me and remain my friends;
A work to do which has real value,
without which the world would be the poorer;
A mind unafraid to travel, even though the trail be not blazed;
An understanding heart;
A sense of humor;
Time for quiet, silent meditation;
A feeling of the presence of God;
The patience to wait for the coming of these things,
With the wisdom to recognize them when they come.
Amen.

New Year

O God of new beginnings and wonderful surprises, thank you for the gift of a new year.  May it be a time of grace for me, a time to grow in faith and love, a time to renew my commitment to following Your Son, Jesus.  May it be a year of blessing for me, a time to cherish my family and friends, a time to renew my efforts at work, a time to embrace my faith more fully.  Walk with me, please, in every day and every hour of this new year, that the light of Christ might shine through me, in spite of my weaknesses and failings.  Above all, may I remember this year that I am a pilgrim on the sacred path to You.
Amen

THE RENEWAL OF OUR BAPTISMAL PROMISES

We entered into God's kingdom by being born again of water and the Spirit (Jn 3:5). We must be aware that we were baptized into Christ Jesus and therefore into His death and resurrection (Rm 6:3). This is the most important event that has ever happened to us and the basis for membership in God's family and our relationship with Him. Therefore, the Spirit will often call us to renew our baptismal promises.
Some Churches do this every Easter, but it is advisable to do it more frequently. When we renew our baptismal promises, we must consider the implications of renouncing all Satan's works, especially since Satan is well aware that we are rejecting him. We should also think about the reality that the God of the universe has chosen to adopt us and is our personal Father. We should consider the life-style changes resulting from believing Jesus is God, Lord, and Man born of the Virgin Mary. We no longer live for ourselves but for Him. We do His will and not ours. By faith, we enter into the realm of the invisible. We believe in the virgin-birth, our salvation through Jesus' death and resurrection, and the realities of heaven and hell. We believe in the Holy Spirit . Now we have the privilege of renewing our baptismal promises.
Do you reject Satan? I do.
And all his works? I do.
And all his empty promises? I do.
Do you believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth? I do.
Do you believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died and was buried, rose from the dead, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father? I do.
Do you believe in the Holy Spirit, , the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting? I do.

Miracles

A miracle, according to the Bible, is not just any unusual event, nor would an event be called a miracle just because God caused it. A miracle is an event that is impossible by natural law, but is brought to pass by the supernatural power of God.
 Read JOHN 11:38-44
The miracle was: Jesus raised a man from the dead..
 Read MATTHEW 14:22-33
The miracle was: Jesus walked on water...
 Read MATTHEW 14:14-21
The miracle was: Jesus fed 5 thousand men with five loaves and two fish.
Jesus also instantaneously and completely healed all kinds of diseases such as leprosy, blindness, deafness, lameness, withered hands, etc. (John 4:46-54; 5:1-9; 9:1-11,30-38; Acts 3:1-20; 4:22; 14:8-10; 5:12-16; 19:11,12; 9:32-35; Mk. 2:1-12, etc.).

John 12:27

"Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say?
'Father, save me from this hour'?  No, it was for
this very reason I came to this hour."

Genesis 24:12

And he said,O Lord God of my master Abraham,I pray thee, send me good speed this day,and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.....

But their writings, when collected, show no contradictions.

Paul does not disagree with Moses, John does not argue with David, etc., though they wrote on the most controversial subjects known to man. Instead, their teachings strengthen and support one another.
Some skeptics claim contradictions exist in the Bible, but ask them to produce one. Most will not even try! Usually they have never really studied the Bible, but are taking someone else's word about it. Proper study can reconcile any supposed contradictions that are suggested.

Did You Know

The Bible includes 66 books written by 40 different men over 1500 years.

These were men of widely different generations, localities and backgrounds. There were kings, slaves, fisherman, physicians, etc. They lived in Israel, Babylon, Rome, etc., from 1400 BC to 100 AD.

Read Mark 1:40-45.

Painful open sores caused everyone to dread leprosy. Those who contracted it were quarantined because the disease was highly contagious. In this story, Jesus did what no one else dared do - He touched a leper. When He did so, the man was healed immediately. His sores were instantly transformed into smooth skin. The Lord then instructed the cleansed leper to report his healing to the priest (a requirement of the law of Moses - Leviticus 13-14), but to tell no one else. The man, however, went out and told everyone - the exact opposite of what Jesus had said. Undoubtedly he was thrilled that he had been healed and probably imagined that spreading the news about Jesus would honor Him. But the fact remains that he did just what Jesus had said not to do. As a result, the Lord was thronged by such large crowds that He could no longer publicly enter into cities, but had to remain in unpopulated areas. We should learn a lesson: All disobedience, even well-intentioned, hurts Jesus' work.

Jesus Continues His Journeys

Mark 1:35-39.Jesus frequently sought solitude for prayer. Prayer during the daytime was nearly impossible since the crowds continually pressed on Him, so He skipped sleep to be able to talk with His Father that He missed so much. After finally finding Him that morning, the disciples reported that everybody in the town where He had been was seeking Him. Nevertheless, since He wanted to be able to get the message to as many people as possible, He insisted on moving on to other towns.

Note worthy

Several features of Jesus' healings are noteworthy:
* He healed immediately, with no delay.
* He healed everyone who came to Him regardless of their disease. (Compare Matt. 8:16,17; Luke 4:40,41.)
* He healed so completely that Simon's mother-in-law was able to get up and start waiting on them. After a fever breaks, it normally takes a few days for a person to recover his strength. Jesus' healings put people back as if they had never had their maladies in the first place!
* Jesus sought to avoid publicity. He ordered the demons not to announce who He was.

Mark 1;29-34

Jesus came into Simon Peter's house and found his mother-in-law sick in bed with a high fever (see Luke 4:38). He spoke to her, raised her up, and the fever left her. She then began waiting on Jesus and the disciples. He also healed many others who were brought to Him.

A prayer from a great sister in Christ.

Father I pray today for Minds to be touched actions to be changed mouths to be guarded. Strong holds to be destroyed and yolks to be broken. Father Send your Spirit over all in a Mighty way. I pray that who doesnt know you today. Will come to you today. Leave all those things behind and reach for things ahead. Start fr...esh today for a better life and live with a purpose. Your purpose. In Jesus Name I pray Amen.

The Christmas Story

About that time Caesar Augustus ordered a census to be taken throughout the Empire. This was the first census when Quirinius was the governor of Syria. Everyone had to travel to his hometown to be accounted for. So Joseph went from the Galilean town of Nazareth up to Bethlehem in Judah, David's hometown, for the census. As a decendant of David he had to go there. He went with Mary, his fiancee, who was pregnant.
While they were there, the time came for her to give birth. She gave birth to a son, her firstborn. She wrapped Him in a blanket and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the hostel.
There were shepherds camping in the neighborhood. They had set night watches over their sheep. Suddenly, God's angel stood among them and God's glory blazed around them. They were terrified. The angel said, "Don't be afraid. I'm here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David's town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master. This is what you're to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger."
At once the angel was joined by a huge angelic choir singing God's praises: "Glory to God in the heavenly heights; Peace to all men and women on earth who please Him."
As the angel choir withdrew into heaven, the shepherds talked it over. "Let's get over to Bethlehem as fast as we can and see for ourselves what God has revealed to us." They left, running, and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger. Seeing was believing. They told everyone they met what the angels had said about this child. All who heard the shepherds were impressed.
Mary kept all these things to herself, holding them dear, deep within herself. The shepherds returned and let loose, glorifying and praising God for everything they had heard and seen. It turned out exactly the way they'd been told!"  (Luke 2:1-20).
christmas storyIt was a simple scene that first Christmas – a rough room, a young couple and nothing but a feeding trough to put the child in. It was probably quite cold and with family far away there was little help. Not exactly the Hallmark moment we like to show in Christmas pageants. And yet this rustic scene marked the greatest event in the history of mankind.
God's Son became human and came to earth to save us. God had promised to send a Messiah, one who would save His people. He could have easily burst on the scene as a full grown man, a seven foot warrior with fiery eyes and arms of steel. This was what many people were looking for, but it wasn't how God did it. He arrived in the arms of a young girl. He was, as another of our authors put it, "a very small package, wrapped in rags, given from the heart of God. The perfect gift."
God gave His only Son to die in our place so that we, in all our brokenness, could know forgiveness. He came so that we could know what love feels like, real love – love that never leaves, love that never disappoints, love that is never betrayed. He sent His Son into a corrupted world to bring us hope.

O Lord Jesus Christ, out of love You died and rose for me and gave me the
Holy Spirit.  In His light and through the prayers of your Holy Mother, I
ask You to proclaim the Gospel of Your love in my heart and in my life
today.  I renounce an attachment to sin, and I rebuke in Your Name every
spirit of evil and disorder.  Let Your risen glory shine all through me
that I may love and adore You with my whole being.  Shine in my body, my
brain and nervous system, my chemistry, every tissue and organ.  Shine in
my mind and will and all their powers; in my psyche, my unconscious, my
sexuality and all my energies, so that I may love and work, pray, play and
sleep in Your holiness.  Shine in my heart and spirit.  Put to death my
egotism.  Cast out my fear and every sinful habit.  Enlighten me wholly and
transform all my relationships.  Fully restore Your image in me so that I
no longer live, but You live in me.  Root me and center me in the Father's

It was six months ago, and a day,
When her husband passed away.
The doctors said there's no more to do,
So she quit her job to help him through.
The child was sleeping when his father died,
To tell her son, oh, how she tried.
The little boy cried that night,
Full of fear, full of fright.
And on that night she lost her faith,
Never to believe in the "Pearly Gate."
She made a vow to never pray,
It meant nothing now, anyway.
At the funeral, he could only stare,
Wishing that his dad were there.
Tears were filling people's eyes,
Saddened by the young boy's cries.
As the months went by, things got rough,
She went back to work, but it wasn't enough.
With no food, no money, and bills to pay,
She just couldn't bring herself to pray.
Before she knew it, it was Christmastime,
And she wasn't able to save a dime.
She felt so bad that she had no tree,
For all her son's friends to see.
On Christmas Eve, they slept together;
She promised her son, she'd be there forever.
He asked her if Santa was coming tonight.
She whispered no, with tears in sight.
Her son would sulk, it wasn't fair;
She hated to see him in despair.
She wanted to give her son some joy,
Oh, how she wished she had a toy.
Then:
The mother got to her knees to pray,
Asking the Lord to hear her say.
She asked for help to return a smile,
To the face of her little child.
On Christmas morning, the boy was screaming;
She saw his eyes were wide and gleaming.
At the door were games, toys, even a bike,
And a card that said, "For the tyke."
With a great big smile and eyes so bright,
He kissed his mom as he held her tight.
She learned that a charity heard of her plight,
And frantically scrambled through the night.
Then again:
The mother got to her knees to pray,
Thanking the Lord for hearing her say.
She thanked the Lord for returning a smile,
To the face of her little child.

Small Adventures

I think over again my small adventures, my fears,
These small ones that seemed so big.
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.
And yet there is only one great thing,
The only thing.
To live to see the great day that dawns
And the light that fills the world. Thanks you God,Amen

Bed Time prayer

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
Bless this bed that I lay on.
Before I lay me down to sleep,
I give my soul to Christ to keep.
Four corners to my bed,
Four angels 'round my head,
One to watch, one to pray,
And two to bear my soul away.
I go by sea, I go by land,
The Lord made me with his right hand,
If any danger come to me,
Sweet Jesus Christ, deliver me.
For he's the branch and I'm the flower,
Pray God send me a happy hour,
And if I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.

A morning prayer

God of all times and places, you have brought us to the beginning of a new day. Surround us in the same with your all-embracing love, and grant that this day we turn not aside into sin, nor be overcome by adversity, but let our thoughts, words, and deeds, in some small way, make for the coming of your Kingdom on earth. Through Christ our Lord. Amen

Information about the LORDS PRAYER

The Lord's Prayer
Christ said "This, then, is how you should pray:"
"Our Father in heaven,  hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matt. 6:9-13).

What does the Lord's Prayer contain?
It contains a short Preface and Seven Petitions.
What do you call its Preface?
These words: '
Our Father in heaven.'
What does the Father remind us of?
That God is our Father, so good and so worthy of veneration that there is no earthly father like Him; and that we, therefore, ought to pray to Him with a childlike reverence, love, and confidence.

Why do we say 'our Father', and not my Father?
Because, God being the Father of all men, we are all His children, and should therefore love one another as brothers, and pray for one another (cf. Mal. 2:10).
Why do we add these words: 'Who art in Heaven'?
To call to our mind, (1.) That God, though he is everywhere, dwells especially in Heaven, where we shall one day see Him face to face (cf. 1 Cor. 13:12) (see also the New Testament use of God and Heaven.) (2.) That we are but pilgrims upon earth, and that our true country is in Heaven; and (3.) That when we pray, we must detach our hearts from all earthly things, and raise them up to Heaven.
What do we ask for in the First Petition: 'Hallowed be Thy name'?
That the name of God may never be profaned or blasphemed, but that God may be rightly known, loved, and honored by us and by all men.

Why is this the First Petition?
Because we are to esteem the honor and glory of God more than all things else.

What do we ask for in the Second Petition:'Thy Kingdom come'?
(
1.) That the kingdom of God, the Church, may be more and more extended upon earth; (2.) That the kingdom of divine, grace and love may now be established in our hearts, in order that, (3.) After this life, we may all be admitted into the kingdom of Heaven.
What is the meaning of the Third Petition:'Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven'?
We ask that we and all men may do the will of God on earth as faithfully and cheerfully as the Angels and Saints do it in Heaven; and We profess that, in all things, we submit ourselves to the holy will of God.
What do we ask for in the Fourth Petition: 'Give us this day our daily bread'?
We ask that God would give us all that is daily necessary for our soul and body.

Why does Christ bid us ask for our daily bread?
To teach us that we should wish only for necessaries, not for riches and abundance. "Having food and wherewith to be covered, with these we are content." (1 Tim. 6:8).

What do we ask for in the Fifth Petition:'Forgive us our trespasses, as We forgive them that trespass against us'?
That God would so forgive us all our sins as we forgive others who have offended us. (See Luke 6:37.)
May those who do not forgive expect forgiveness themselves?
No; on the contrary, they pass judgment upon themselves as often as they say the Lord's Prayer. "
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins." (See Mark 11:25)

What do we ask for in the sixth Petition: 'Lead us not into temptation'?
We ask that God would remove from us all temptations and all the dangers of sin, or, at least, give us grace sufficient to resist them.
By whom are we tempted to sin?
(1.) By our own flesh or concupiscence; 'for the flesh lusts against the spirit' (Gal. 5:17) (2.) By the World, i.e., by its vain pomp, bad example, and wicked maxims; and (3.) By the Devil, 'who, as a roaring lion, goes about seeking whom he may devour' (1 Pet. 5:8).

Why does God permit us to be tempted?
(1.) To keep us humble; (2.) To try our faithfulness or to punish our unfaithfulness; and (3.) To increase our zeal for virtue, and our merits.

'Lest the greatness of the revelations should exalt me, there was given me a sting of my flesh, an angel of Satan, to buffet me' (2 Cor. 12:7). 2. "[F]or the Lord your God tries you, that it may appear whether you love him with all your heart, and with all your soul, or not." (Deut. 13:3). 'Blessed is the man that endures temptation; for when he bath been proved he shall receive the crown of life, which God bath promised to them that love him' (James 1:12).
Is temptation in itself a sin?
Temptation in itself is not a sin; but to expose ourselves heedlessly to temptation, or to yield to it, is a Sin. For our consolation and Instruction, Christ Himself allowed the Devil to tempt Him (See Matt. 4:1-11)

What must we do in order that we may not yield?
We must especially watch and pray, as Christ our Lord says: '
Watch and pray that you will not fall into temptation' (Matt. 26:41).
What do we ask for in the Seventh Petition: 'But deliver us from evil'
That God would preserve us from all evil of soul and body, especially from sin and eternal damnation.
Why do we add the word 'Amen'?
To express by it our ardent desire, and also our confidence of being heard.
Always say the Lord's Prayer with reverential attention, remembering that we have received it from our Divine Redeemer Himself.

Just like baby Jesus

Just like the
baby Jesus
I ever hope to be,
Resting in Your loving arms
Trusting in Your sovereignty.

And like the growing Christ child
In wisdom daily learning,
May I ever seek to know You
With my mind and spirit yearning.

Like the Son so faithful
Let me follow in Your light,
Meek and bold, humble and strong
Not afraid to face the night.

Nor cowardly to suffer
And stand for truth alone,
Knowing that Your kingdom
Awaits my going home.

Not afraid to sacrifice
Though great may be the cost,
Mindful how You rescued me
From broken-hearted loss.

Like my risen Savior
The babe, the child, the Son,
May my life forever speak
Of who You are and all You've done.

So while this world rejoices
And celebrates Your birth,
I treasure You, the greatest gift
Unequaled in Your worth.

I long to hear the same words
That welcomed home Your Son,
"Come, good and faithful servant,"
Your Master says, "Well done."

And may heaven welcome others
Who will join with me in praise
Because I lived for Jesus Christ
Not only Christmas Day

Let Us Pray to the Lord

Let Us Pray to the Lord;
For all Christians, may we be humble stewards of the gifts given to us by God, and may we set an example of mercy and generosity by becoming involved in efforts to distribute the worlds wealth among all of those in need,

For all Americans during the upcoming Presidential election, may we honor our Catholic beliefs and make a heartfelt and conscientious effort to listen to the candidates, study their past performance, understand their platforms, judge their leadership, and ask God to help us make the right decision for our country,

For the poor, the homeless, the addicted, and those begging on the street, may we not turn away from them, no matter how distasteful and offensive their circumstances might be, and instead may we earnestly attempt to lighten their load by taking it upon ourselves,

Reading out of 2Timothy4:3-5 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever they want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good news, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.

The time is now to begin to open your bibles and to read from them yourself, without watching the words on the big screen at church. Ask the Holy spirit to give you knowledge and wisdom as you read. Bible says in Luke 11:9-10 and so i tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive, what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

The Soul

Time may wrinkle the skin, but worry, doubt, hate, and the lost of ideals wrinkle the soul. As we gracefully accept the passing of years, God will smooth out the wrinkles of our souls. May God’s love fill your heart always.

Thanksgiving Bible Verses

(Psalm 136:1) Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever.
(1 Thessalonians 5:18)  Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
(Psalm 100:4) Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise
his name.
(Psalm 107:1) Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

I Thank Thee

O Thou whose bounty fills my cup,
With every blessing meet!
I give Thee thanks for every drop—
The bitter and the sweet.

I praise Thee for the desert road,
And for the riverside;
For all Thy goodness hath bestowed,
And all Thy grace denied.

I thank Thee for both smile and frown,
And for the gain and loss;
I praise Thee for
the future crown
And for the present cross.

I thank Thee for both wings of love
Which stirred my worldly nest;
And for the stormy clouds which drove
Me, trembling, to Thy breast.

I bless Thee for the glad increase,
And for the waning joy;
And for this strange, this settled peace
Which nothing can destroy.
Thanksgiving is a special day in America. You know the story of the Pilgrims. There is some debate, but in 1621 they gathered together for what is generally considered to be the first time that a Thanksgiving was observed.

Abraham Lincoln, in 1863, declared Thanksgiving a national holiday. Every year in America as a nation we take a day of thanksgiving. We gather together with family and with friends and we have food and we celebrate this day of Thanksgiving. It is a day.

According to the Scriptures, Thanksgiving is also a duty. The Bible commands us to give thanksgiving unto the Lord. For instance, Psalm 100, verse 4, says, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name."

Psalm 105, verse 1, says, "O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples."

All over the Bible you will find this command to give thanks unto the Lord. It's in the Old Testament and the New Testament. It is a duty to give thanksgiving unto the Lord.

First Thessalonians 5, verse 18, says, "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

In Ephesians, chapter 5, it gets a little stronger. It says in verse 20, "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Give thanks "in" all things and give thanks "for" all things.

That gives you a little problem. We can understand how to give thanks "in" all things, but the verse also says, "Give thanks for all things." How do you thank God for all things? How do you thank God for the bad things that happen?

Matthew Henry wrote one of the great Bible commentaries. Matthew Henry was taken by a thief and robbed on an occasion. After he was robbed Matthew Henry said, "I thank Thee, Lord, first because it is the first time I have ever been robbed. Second, I thank Thee because he took my purse and not my life. Third, I thank Thee because, though he took my all, it was not very much. Fourth, I thank Thee because it was I who was robbed and not I who robbed." Even for all things, there is something we can thank God for.

It's a day. It's a duty. It's a delight. Thanksgiving is one of those delightful things we learn in life. To be thankful is very healthy for you. It is one of those activities that create emotional health. It has a cleansing power to it. It has a healing power. Learn to be thankful to the Lord.

Psalm 103 could be called the "Thanksgiving Psalm." There are many of them, but this really is a Thanksgiving Psalm. It sets our minds and our hearts in the direction of thanksgiving during this Thanksgiving season.

John 17;20-21

I pray... that all of them might be one, Father,
just as you are in me and I am in you.
May they also be in us
so that the world may believe
that you have sent me.

The Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Psalm 12

Father in heaven,
I lift my eyes to you and wait for your help.
I am your servant, entrusted with your gifts;
I am yours alone.

I lift my eyes to you who dwell in heaven.
Like a faithful servant, I wish to do your bidding.

As the eyes of a good servant are on the master,
so are our eyes on the Lord, our God, till he bless us.

When my Time Comes

When my time has come
and impermanence and death have caught up with me,
When the breath ceases, and the body and mind go their separate ways,
May I not experience delusion, attachment, and clinging,
But remain in the natural state of ultimate reality.

My Soul is Thristing

O God, you are my God,
for you I long;
for you my soul is thristing.
I long for you
like dry, weary land without water.
Give me your strength and your glory.

I wish to praise you all my life
fill my soul as with a banquet.
I cling to you;
hold me close in your hands.
Psalm 63

Glory to the Father. . .

Child Abuse

I never knew how bad it was;I heard it did exist. I was appalled at this crime That robbed youth of their "special" time.l never knew how bad it hurt; The bruises and scars aren't seen. And why somewhere along life's way,The brutality of abuse... Has made you pay..I never knew how you felt;Your self-esteem so low.I only knew you crept away,And never let your feelings show.I never knew what I could do;That i could help some how. That all you needed was a friend;Just someone to be your pal.But now I know that I can help;I can make a difference, too.I'll stand with you;I'll shout with you,And the rest can't say,"I never knew"

Follow you father

Good morning, dear Father,
Thank you for this day,
Help me to follow you,

Created in your Image

My Father in Heaven,

I was created in Your image

And in Your likeness—
...
In the image and likeness of Almighty God

Was I created.

I pray that through the new birth experience,
And because of Your Son, Jesus,
Eden may be restored in my life
And I may walk with You once again
Hand in hand in the garden
In the cool of the day.

Amen.

Psalms 32;8

I will instruct you and teach
you in the way you should go, I will counsel you and watch over you.

- Psalm 32:8

Hallowed by the name.

Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in
heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we
forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, ..

A Relationship with God...

If you have a Relationship with God he will answer Your Prayers....  Imagine if someone you do not know , walks up to you and says "hey will you co-sign for a loan for me?" Would you,my guess would be NO...But if you knew that person and had a good relationship with them and trusted them, you would at least try to help them out.....So if you have a good Relationship with God, he would try to help you out....by answering your prayers......A Good relationship matters.....God said if you remain in me and my words remain in you ask whatever you wish and it will be given....

Romans 8;28 Says

"And we know all things work together for them that love God,to them who are called according to his purpose"...What does this mean to you ? To me this means God has a plan for us..........Amen
